Description
Session #1 – Daily Fueling
– This session builds the foundation of your fuel plan. Learn how much fuel you need, the best timing for meals and snacks, and how to pair foods together to maximize blood sugar control which optimizes energy levels and performance.
– Requires 3 days of dietary tracking in My Fitness Pal.
– Includes an analysis of current caloric/macronutrient intake + new recommendations to fit your training needs.
– Includes meal, snack, and macronutrient guides designed to expand nutrition knowledge and promote the development of your meal plan.
– Includes supplement recommendations as needed.
Session #2 – Training Fueling
– This session involves a deep dive look at what is working and not working in your fuel/hydration plan. Learn the best timing for pre-workout foods, what workouts require fuel during, and how your dietary intake aids recovery. The sweat testing session is done at this time, or an alternative questionnaire.
– Involves sports nutrition product overviews, and my personalized recommendations for you after a decade of nutrition coaching.
– Includes a training guide complete with pre/during/post workout recommendations.
– Includes supplement recommendations as needed.
Session #3 – Check In
– This session often coincides with a long training or “practice” race in preparation for your A race. This is a time for us to put all of the things we have trialed in training into play, and let the chips fall where they may. Any final changes are made during this session to ensure a smooth and seamless transition to session #4 shortly.
Session #4 – Race Day Fueling
– This session is when we put all the puzzle pieces together into a cohesive race day fuel/hydration plan. This plan will cover the days leading up to the race through post-recovery. You will have specific hourly fluid, sodium, and calorie recommendations in the form of the best products for you. By the time we reach this point, your race day fuel plan has proven tried and true during training, leaving no room for what-ifs.
