Welcome to Thomas Endurance Coaching! Thank you for putting your trust and confidence in us. We strive to not only offer world-class coaching services but also to build a lasting relationship with all of our athletes by providing a team that supports the whole-athlete experience. Helping you reach your goals is a responsibility that we don’t take lightly, and we’ll work hard to help you achieve them. Below are a few details that will help both you and your coach be as successful as possible. Please read the following carefully.

What You Should Expect

We do things differently. You may be pushed outside of your comfort zone and exposed to questions, language, and exercises that you’re not expecting or accustomed to. 

Athletes are more than the workouts they complete. We support you through the “whole-athlete experience” which involves the mental, emotional, and physical aspects of pursuing your goals. The physical is a small part of what makes you successful.

Longevity is our primary goal. By helping you develop the full range of skills needed to be a successful athlete, we’re helping you acquire the skills to become a lifelong athlete.

Your Responsibilities

Communication is the cornerstone. In order for you to get the most out of your work with your Mental Performace Coach, it’s imperative that you be open, honest, and communicative. 

Give it time. Change takes time. Much of what we will help you overcome is based on long-held beliefs that require your time, focus, and energy to overcome. It typically takes several sessions to enable your Mental Performace Coaching to begin to take shape in your life and training. 

Trust your coach! There will be times when the guidance and recommendations are hard or challenging. Remember that in order to grow you have to push yourself. Have confidence in your coach and their approach. It’s always encouraged to maintain an open dialogue with your coach regarding your struggles and progress, and we strive to provide full transparency into our approach. However, always remember that one of your responsibilities as an athlete is to bring 100%. With a combination of your effort and your coach’s knowledge, you’ll be able to reach your full potential.

Please review the following questionnaire in detail and answer all of the questions to the best of your ability. These questions will help your coach get a better sense of you as an individual, as well as where to focus your efforts as it relates to the mental performance aspects of your athleticism. The more detailed and thorough you can be, the better your coach will be able to help you.
