Layer Up, and Opt Outside

During the winter, it is easy to think that you should hit the gym or take your workout indoors.  It’s not difficult, however, to enjoy an outdoor workout that is both comfortable and enjoyable if you are dressed appropriately.

This winter, don’t let ‘cold weather’ become an excuse. For optimal comfort, here’s what to wear in every temperature range.

For 30° to 40° Weather:

  • Long-sleeved shirt
  • Pants OR tights
  • Sweatshirt OR Fleece
  • Light Gloves
  • Ear Warmer

For 20° to 30° Weather:

  • Long-sleeved shirt
  • Tights [Optional]
  • Fleece
  • Pants
  • Lightweight Jacket
  • Hat
  • Heavier Gloves

For < 20° Weather:

  • Long-sleeved shirt
  • Tights
  • Fleece
  • Pants
  • Lightweight Jacket
  • Hat
  • 2 Pairs of Gloves
  • Neck Gaiter
